I have emerged from the end of year MA degree workathon, and I survived! I am now free to work on my Spin City shop (inbetween making and designing my graduate collection of course!) so soon you will be seeing lots of new work from me.
I have been working solidly since Easter on my Pre Collection for my Degree in Fashion Knitwear at Central St Martins, and it feels really strange to wake up in the morning and not have this huge panic of a day waiting for me! I still wake with a start around 6.45 with thoughts like "Ahhhhh! I've got to get knitting! I've only got a day left to make my entire collection! AHHHHH!"
At least when I do wake with a start I can crack on with my Etsy shop, which has been sorely neglected!

Emma Stokes, Costume design |
So, last Friday, I went to visit my BFF (best friend forever) Emma Stokes in her adopted home in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire where she has just finished studying for her BA degree in Costume Design with Textiles. I traveled up with my mum in the car from Suffolk, which to those not in the know is around a four hour trip. I had never been "up north" this way before, and the countryside was so lovely, if a little rainy.
