I've been experimenting with the "tail spinning" technique from PluckyFluff's (Guru of Artyarns) recently published book called "Intertwined"
I hand kettle dyed the hand washed locks then spun away, adding the ends of the slightly felted locks together forming this wonderfully slubby textures colourful yarn.
I think it would look great needle felted down in long lengths and used to make something sweet like a purse (or a mermaid's purse!)
